Deathly bride

I love the pattern painted onto the veil. Combined with the dangling ornaments surrounding her forehead, it makes the veil an exquisite tool in the haunting and creepy atmosphere. I love the way her hands are intertwined with the necklace, the cross dangling between. The extremely long nails are an excellent touch.

But my favorite part of this is the inky veins in her face, and the stringy hair that resembles smoke. The purple bruises around her eyes are a beautiful touch, as are the black lines of paint dripping downward. Truly and exquisitely dark piece - thank you for sharing this!
